What to eat


Maribor is considered one of the sunniest cities in Slovenia. It is a town with a fairly small center on the left bank of the Drava River, which comprises the Main Square, the Slomšek Square with the cathedral, Castle Square and the new square named after the most famous Slovenian Olympian Leon Štukelj. In all squares and also the streets that connect them, there are cozy bars and cafés where, among other things, they serve delicious breakfasts.
